Keytop tech developed the Parking Guidance System (PGS) that provides real-time indication of the number of parking lots available in the entire car park. The system had been exported to Singapore and Malaysia recently.
How the PGS works?.
In a parking guidance system, every parking space is monitored by a Ultrasonic Car Lot Sensor. The Sensor is installed on the ceiling in the middle of each parking space. The sensor detects the occupancy status through ultrasonic distance measurement and compared to the previously stored ceiling height value.If a vehicle is occupying the parking space, the sensor will changes the indicator LED light from GREEN to RED. and then the value is transmitted to the connected zone controller. up to 64 sensors can be connected to one zone controller.
The Ultrasonic Car Lot Sensor can be installed via flush mount, rail mount or ceiling mount. The best installation solution depends on the given circumstances. The sensor can be adjusted to different ceiling heights. For optimal detection purposes, the sensor should be installed in the middle of the parking space.
When a car enters the car park� lot, an Ultrasonic Car Lot Detector (UCD) detects the vehicle and sends the information to the Master Controller. This will instantly update all the LED display signages. The PGS calculates the availability of lots in a car park. Once a detector is triggered, the system will update the main LED display panel at the car park entrance and other LED displays on the latest availability of lots at that point in time for each level.
